Clayton Kershaw-15-5 vs. Kyle Lohse-11-7

most Cardinal fans I'm sure are second guessing Tony Larussa's 9th inning moves last night. these were the moves that led to that miracle rally, sparking the Dodgers to their rally win. Larussa had put in Furcal as a defensive replacement at shortstop, even though he had a bad thumb. there was a hit batter, three pitching changes, Miles' triple, Big Rod's RBI grounder, Furcal's wide throw home, and a inning ending double play.

this is a classic example of over managing. our problem is our Manager under manages. when the Dodgers are on their way to a predictable loss, he just stands there and lets the events unfold. so we have two managers, over vs. under. which management style will win?

Clayton Kershaw will go to the mound tonight for the Dodgers looking for his 16th win, and continuing his cy young candidacy. Kershaw is 15-5 (1st in wins) 2.60 ERA (5th in ERA), and has 199 strikeouts. (1st in strikeouts). Kersh is 3-1 over his last four decisions with an ERA of 2.00. Kershaw is 2-2 vs the Cardinals. hell have to be careful with Pujols and Holliday. Pujols is hitting .500 in 12 at bats off Kershaw, and Holliday is hitting .358 in 14 at bats.

the Cardinals will counter with Kyle Lohse. lohse has had a decent year. he is 11-7 with a 3.33 ERA. he is 2-2 against the Dodgers. Miles and Blake have hit him well. both batting .364 against him, with a home run for Blake.

speaking of Matt Holliday, he had to leave the game early in the 7th because a moth flew into his ear. one of the trainers had to remove the moth from his ear. were glad to report that both Moth and Holliday were not injured.

last night's win for the Dodgers was there 1000th win against the Cardinals.  before last night the Dodgers had only won 4 game at Busch stadium since 2006. thats a 4-21 record, which doesn't include there 1 win at Busch stadium in the playoffs.

*UPDATE-I just learned that the Dodgers have called up A.J. Ellis from Albuquerque and designated Dioner Navarro A.K.A. Fatty, A.K.A. Pudjito for assignment. Ill have more on this after the game, but Ill definatly be celebrating. its about damm time! goodbye pudjito, thanks for your five home runs. you won't be missed*

tonights game is at 510PM on KCAL. Please join us after the game for our post game recap. lets keep this momentum going! GO BLUE
