Well ill be sad to see the Astros leave. there welcome back any time. the Dodgers look for a sweep against Houston, in the final game of the homestand. this would be the Dodgers second sweep this year. this will also be the last time we see the Astros this season.
the pitching matchups for today has Houston throwing out some newbie named Jordan Lyles. hes a righty, the Dodgers have never seen him before, and hes only made 13 other career starts.
the Dodgers will counter with Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda is 7-14 with a beautiful 3.01 ERA. Kuroda has always pitched very well against Houston througout the years. he is 2-0 with a 1.91 ERA in just over 37 innings pitched. since Kuroda is on the mound runs will be sparse. we could be looking at another scoreless game. Kuroda will have to be careful with one guy though. Carlos Lee is hitting .357 against Kuroda a homerun and 4 RBI.
after the game the Dodgers will hit the road starting a 10 game roadtrip for four games in Milwaukee. owners of the best home record in baseball at 43-15. so back to reality tomorrow.
