Roy Halladay-14-5 vs. Horki Kuroda-7-13

The Dodgers return home today to start a 6 game homestand. three games with the MLB best record Phillies, and off day on thursday and a three game set with Houston.

the Dodgers will have a very tough battle ahead. tonight they face Roy Halladay and the Phillies. the Phillies own the best record in MLB right now, and Halladay is having another Cy young season.
Halladay is 14-4 with a 2.55 ERA. he is in the top five in every single pitching category. how has Halladay fared against the Dodgers/ like he fares against all opponents, he beats the crap out of them. hes 3-1 with a 2.02 ERA. however his lone loss was last year against guess who? Kuroda.

Kuroda beat Halladay and the Phillies last year as he took a no-hitter into the 8th inning. Kuroda has pitched terrific in his career against Philadelphia. Kuroda is 2-1 with a miniscule 0.84 ERA. Kuroda has allowed just three earned runs in over 31 innings against the Phillies. and there hitting just .107 against him. Hiroki after invoking his no-trade clause and showing unbelievable loyatly to the Dodgers has been one of the most unluckiest pitchers in recent years. Kuroda won his last start as the Dodgers gave him a whopping 1 run of support. while he is 7-13 against the league his ERA is 2.96.

Dee Gordon is still not in the lineup today. Im guessing the Dodgers wanted to give him an extra day of rest.
well have to deal with the likes of rat face, big nos, and bananna face Ilbanez. plus the phillies now have Hunter Pence, so there lineup is even more dangerous and potentially more annoying than usual.

on a funny note, Rat face Victorino was suspended three games for his little shady actions this last weekend in San Francisco. there is no word whether he will serve his suspension or appeal, but wouldnt it be nice if we didnt have to see that shady fuck face for the whole series?

a win tonight seems very unlikly, but I guess you never know, and Kuroda has always pitched well against the Phillies. we shall see......find out tonight Dodger fans, then join us after the game for our postgame recap. tonights game is at 710 on Prime Ticket. GO BLUE!
