Ted Lilly-7-12 vs. Randy Wolf-9-8

Well the vacation of playing the worst team in baseball was nice but now over. as the Dodgers embark on a 10 game beer road trip accross the midwest. they start with four games in milwaukee (miller park) three in Colorado (coors field) and three in St. Louis (bush) so relax pull up a chair and crack open a cold one.

todays game finds the Dodgers in the beer country of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. the blue crew will be playing the brew crew. this will be no easy task for the Dodgers. the brewers are in first place in the NL central, and have the best home record in all of baseball.

of coarse with Ted Lilly on the mound, it will only be more of a challenge. Lilly has been pitching better of late, allowing only 3 runs in his last 14 innings pitched. Lilly is 7-12 against the league but has had success against Milwaukee in the past. lifetime against Milwaukee Lilly is 5-2 with a solid 3.54 ERA. however we will have to worry about Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder, who both have hit Lilly well. Both are hitting .360 and .333 respectivly off of Lilly with three homeruns. so can we please NOT pitch to these guys? this game could get ugly though since Lilly is infamous for giving up long balls, and the Brewers are a homer happy team, theyve hit an eye popping 131 homeruns, with Fielder and Braun leading the charge. in comparison the Dodgers have hit 79.

the Brewers will counter with old friend Lefty Randy Wolf. ahhhhh yes we all remember the Wolfman. the Former Dodger was an integral part of our 95 win 2009 NLCS team. yes the good ol' days Dodger fans. well Wolf will be standing by to beat his former team. but how has the Wolfman done against the Dodgers you ask? actually pretty decent. a 3-4 record but a 3.66 ERA. Ethier, Rivera, and Navarro have all gone deep off of Wolf.

Wolfman

so the Dodgers should be thirsting for runs as usual. but will the Dodgers refresh themselves with an icey cold road win? or can the Brewers keep their home dominance flowing like a tall foamy glass of choice hops?
we shall see Dodger fans, so drink up and catch the game at 510PM on Prime Ticket. if you havent drank yourself into oblivion, and believe me I think anyone would need to toss back a few after watching Lilly pitch, then join us after the game for our postgame recap. a toast to the Dodgers! raise your glasses dodger fans. GO BLUE.
