8.Barajas2
9.Billingsley1

notable changes in the dodgers lineup. with a lefty on the mound Torre overloads the dodgers lineup with rightys. first the big change is the return of furcal to the dodgers lineuo after missing about a month with back strain. (thank god!) with Manny gone, hit machine is the dodgers best hitter and its great to see him finally back at the top of the lineup where he belongs.
after driving in all three runs on wed, and being robbed of what would have been a double thanks to Kemp missing the second base bag, loney is rewarded with being put on the bench. im sure well see him pinch hit at some point late in the game, as he continues his solid season.

POD goes to the bench where he prolly belongs and Reed Johnson is given a rare start. im not sure why Torre never starts him since he kills lefties, and is a solid outfielder, but who knows why Torre makes some of the decisions he makes. Belliard takes over at first base for tonight, and Theriot returns to the lineup after missing the last couple of games because of a sore knee as a cause of a Jayson Werth slide into second base. I guess im ok with this, if Belliard has to start I think he can do the least amount of damage at first base, since he is just as bad of a fielder as he is a hitter.

on a side note the dodgers have recalled backup catcher AJ Ellis, as rosters expand, so more people can realize over the last month of the season, that he absolutly cant hit major league pitching or throw out anyone on the base paths. But then again Ausmus nor Barajas can throw anyone out either. since Russell Martin went down all three have been unable to throw out a single baserunner attempting to steal.

post game post will come after the game. LETS GO BLUE!!!!!!!
