after last night's debacle, Im ready to have beer on hand for tonight's game. we are clearly overmatched in this series. we obviously cant compete with playoff elite teams like the Brewers and Phillies, and Atlanta. etc...
these teams can beat you in a number of different ways, one is with great defense, (like we sae last night), or great pitching, or by hitting the ball out of the park. we as Dodger fans arent used to these types of Luxuries.

the Dodgers will try and change their fortune tonight, in game two in Milwaukee.

the Dodgers will give the ball to Chad Billingsley, who has had an up and down year, and got hammered in his last start.
Bills has a 2.95 ERA at home, but a 5.53 ERA on the road. so the question is, which Bills will show up today? the good Bills? or the crappy Bills? well see. Billingsley is 10-9 vs. the league.

Milwaukee will counter with Yovani Gallardo. the young right hander is 13-8 with a 3.67 ERA. he has had a good year, but has never pitched well against the Dodgers. he is lifetime 0-3 with a 10.80ERA.

hopefully we can score some runs tonight without hitting into a million double plays, but since Loney is not int he lineup, then it wont be a problem.
